Bogdan Lucut drew his first car at age three, which sparked a lifelong passion for illustration. What looked like silly drawings to his parents held great potential in the eyes of his art teacher. After many years of practice, numerous pencils and erasers, and lots of paper, Bogdan became a children’s book illustrator. From fierce dragons and mischievous pigeons to cars with no wheels and planes with no wings, Bogdan spends his days imagining fantastical creatures and awesome inventions that inhabit the world of children’s literature. Bogdan lives in Timisoara, Romania (also known as “little Vienna”) with his wife, Laura, and their two sons, Tobias and Ian.
